Eyefinity Joins with Labs and Frame Manufacturers to Launch the Express Path Network for Private Eyecare Practices

FOLSOM, CA, February 23, 2005 -- Eyefinity, the optical industry's most widely used Internet portal, has announced the launch of the Express Path Network, an alliance of optical laboratories and frame manufacturers that improves the way spectacles are processed and delivered to the private eyecare practice.

Taking Eyefinity's online eCommerce services to the next level, the Express Path Network allows private eyecare practitioners to streamline lab and frame ordering and claim filing into an easy one-step process. Through the Express Path Network program, eyecare providers can eliminate unnecessary steps in the shipping process, reduce staff workload, and maintain a full inventory of frames on their dispensary boards for maximum patient selection and satisfaction.

"We're not only extremely proud of the valuable tools and services we've developed since our inception to help empower the private practice, but we're also pleased with the way our industry partners have responded to innovate with us to deliver new and exciting programs that benefit private practice," says Eyefinity's President and CEO, Don Yee. "The addition of the Express Path Network to our eCommerce services not only provides private practice eyecare doctors and their staffs with ease and convenience, but also allows private practice, frame manufacturers and labs to work together to best serve the eyecare patient."
