Eyefinity Expands Online Services to All Private Eye Care Practitioners

FOLSOM, CA, December 6, 2002 -- Eyefinity, the optical industry's most widely used Internet portal, announced today that the company will now make their online services available to all private practice eye care practitioners.

"Our mission is to empower the private practice doctors with the marketing, e-commerce and practice management tools that help them succeed in today's challenging environment" said Don Yee, Eyefinity president and CEO. "Expanding Eyefinity access to all private practices is a natural next step of us."

Private practice eye care providers outside of the VSP network may now register at eyefinity.com for access to Eyefinity's online services. These services include online claims filing, customized practice Web sites, online purchasing from top industry manufacturers, access to BCI's VisionCare CE online program, a valuable HIPAA resource center, and other helpful practice management services and information.

"While this important step enables Eyefinity to develop more comprehensive programs to further advance private practice optometry, it also provides greater opportunity to allow our partners, manufacturers and providers to come together and deliver more efficient and better quality eye care," added Yee.

To register for Eyefinity access, eye care professionals can visit www.eyefinity.com or call 877-448-0707.
